Empires

The world is flat. much as it was for the first explorers setting up "trade routes" with far away countries.

The only difference is multi-nationals are the new empires sending explorers to bring back the vast labour riches of far-away lands.

Expanding to areas of the globe where the only rules of business are "might is right". SEC and corporate audits and GAAP just don't fit with being globally competitive.

Some countries line up to do business with the conquistadors, to acquire the bounty that is being spent on expansion, others are enlisted less voluntarily by the multi-national turned wanna-be global empire.
